Anthem Letter Stencil Set
Viscount Crown Stencil
Americana Acrylic Craft Paint – https://bit.ly/2yIMU1p
Americana Fabric Painting Medium – https://bit.ly/2DKkc4
Flat Bristle Stencil Brush – https://bit.ly/2Wy68lC
Repositionable Spray Adhesive – https://bit.ly/2yFQoBK
Frog Tape Painter’s Tape – https://bit.ly/2OtyDkb

Get started by spraying the back of the Viscount crown stencil with Repositionable Spray Adhesive and centering it on the surface of the pillowcase. The pillowcase should not be on a pillow as you stencil. To keep the fabric from bunching up, spray a piece of cardboard with Repositionable Spray Adhesive and put it inside of the pillowcase. Smooth out any wrinkles and make sure the stencil is pressed firmly to the surface. Mix the Americana Glorious Gold craft paint with Americana Fabric Painting Medium 2:1 on a paper plate using the stencil brush.

Once the Fabric Painting Medium is thoroughly mixed into the paint, swirl the excess paint off of the brush and onto a piece of paper towel. The brush bristles should feel about dry to the touch. Lightly swirl the paint onto the edges of the crown stencil as you begin to fill the design with color.

It is really helpful to have a piece of cardboard coated in Repositionable Spray Adhesive to keep the material from shifting as you swirl on the stencil paint. Lightly build the color in 3-4 coats of paint. Once the color fill is solid peel off the stencil.

Next, attach a piece of Frog Tape Painters tape to the pillowcase so that it runs straight from one side to the other. This is the line you should use to line up the stencil letters. Use Repositionable Spray Adhesive on the back of your lettering stencil then press it into place on the line. Use more Frog Tape Painters Tape on either side of the letter “P” to keep from painting outside of those boundaries.

For the lettering try mixing Americana Shimmering Silver and Lilac acrylic paints. This paint should then be mixed with Americana Fabric Painting Medium 2:1. Once mixed swirl the excess paint off of the stencil brush onto paper towel until it feels just about dry to the touch.

Swirl the stencil paint through each letter individually until you reach full color. It should take 3-4 coats on each letter to reach full coverage. As you complete each letter, simply peel off the lettering stencil and put the next letter into position to be stenciled.

Once your word is complete, peel off the Frog Tape Painters Tape and place your pillowcase onto a pillow. The fabric paint takes 24 hours to cure so be sure not to wash your new pillowcase before then. The pretty princess pillowcase craft is a great gift for birthdays, holidays, or mothers day. Customize the wording for any king, queen, duke, countess, prince, or princess that you know!
